Dr. Tegarden and her staff are knowledgeable, compassionate, and excellent with animals. We’ve been through the death of our family pet Hans (Facebook Star and loved by everyone), and the beginning of life with a new puppy. I wish we could clone West Main Animal Hospital and bring them to Washington with us.

Both of our dogs had a nice experience on their initial visit to West Main. The staff was nice, and Dr. Tegarden was great with our dogs. We had been to a handful of other offices over the years that we didn’t feel would be a good fit, so it was a relief to find one that we feel good about.

I had to make the painful decision to euthanize my suffering kitty, who was dying of cancer. They couldn’t get her in until the next day, but I needed someone the same day. The gal who answered the phone told me of a Vet who comes to the home, so I called her, and she was at my home in 30 minutes. So I’m thankful the gal who answered the phone at West Main, gave me that info. My kitty is at peace now and no longer in pain.

The Receptionists are very friendly n helpful. I found the property very clean, and did not have any harsh cleaning fumes like some have. The vet doctor is Amazing! I have never seen a vet sit on the floor, as my sweet sheltie girl was nervous, it helped calm her down. The vet is very friendly, helpful, and knowledgeable. The prices are very reasonable as well.
I would give them my highest recommendation, for you to trust your cat/dog to their care.
